Other Details to Note

Bolivar Peninsula is a beautiful coastal area with a few things worth knowing before you arrive. Power: Like many coastal communities, the peninsula can occasionally experience brief outages from the local electricity provider. These are rare, but possible. Travel insurance can offer extra peace of mind for weather or utility-related interruptions. Mosquitoes: We work with Galveston County for regular street spraying. As with any Texas coastal property, you may encounter mosquitoes, especially at dusk. Bringing repellent is a smart move. Security cameras: For property security, Nest cameras are active only in exterior areas, including the downstairs/ground-floor exterior and patio/deck areas. Cameras are not pointed toward the hot tub. The tiki bar/outdoor gathering area may be visible from exterior cameras. There are no cameras in any indoor living or sleeping spaces.

Rental Agreement: Guest is required to sign a Rental Agreement to receive check-in instructions. Pets: Dog-friendly. Allowed up to three dogs, which must be less than 30 lbs. No cats or other pets are allowed. No additional pets shall be allowed without prior written consent. Please refrain from letting your pet lay on any furniture, bed, on the couch, or jump into the hot tub. These activities will result in extra cleaning, and you may be charged as such. Age: All guests must be 25+ (Children accompanied by their parents are allowed) Occupancy: 14 Persons Maximum Security Cameras: Nest cameras are installed downstairs and on the first and second-floor patios. They are motion-activated and will capture anyone who passes by. All recordings are saved and can be shared with the booking platform for review. We can also access the cameras in real time if we suspect any violations of house rules. Smoking: Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere in the home. Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/external events that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. Hot tub: The hot tub can accommodate six people max. Only guests over 18 or accompanied minors are allowed in the hot tub. Alcohol and glassware are not allowed in the hot tub. If you are pregnant or have consumed alcohol, you are not allowed in the hot tub. Use of hot tub is at your own risk. Our cleaners drain, clean, and refill the hot tub before your stay. (It may take time to reheat the water.) Trash: Please place all trash bags and secure the trash can next to the driveway. Please don't leave any trash on the deck or in the driveway. We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, bath towels, and linens. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and cookware. K Cup coffee and creamer are provided. Soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided in all baths with shower dispensers. Please bring your own personal toiletries, condiments, sugar, and spices.

This house is beautiful and had everything we needed. The view is outstanding and we really enjoyed it. It was our second time to rent it and we will definitely do it again!

Pack your beach gear and hit the beach directly. We're located steps away from the beach. If you're looking for a fun and convenient way to explore the beach, renting a golf cart is a great choice. You can cruise along the shoreline and take in the stunning scenery. However, keep in mind that the beach is just a short walk away from the cabin, so a golf cart isn't necessary. It's entirely up to you if you want to add some extra excitement to your beachfront adventure. Several rental companies in Crystal Beach cater to visitors seeking golf carts. These companies typically offer a range of golf cart models to suit different preferences and group sizes. You can reserve a cart online and have it delivered to the location. Typically the rental starts at noon time. Please feel free to use our cabin address to receive the delivery on the day of your check-in even if it is before your check-in time. Please ensure to receive the delivery only after 10 AM on your check-in day. Golf carts require a license plate and only licensed drivers are allowed to operate them. Golf carts can cross Hwy 87, but are not allowed to drive down Hwy 87. Golf carts are allowed on the beaches: they are considered motor vehicles and all motor vehicle laws apply. Check with your rental company for more details.
